Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of CatchReel, a mobile app that builds your fishing log from your catch photos. CatchReel is published by Piscaro LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we", "us"). By using CatchReel, you agree to these terms.

Pricing

CatchReel is free to download and use today. We may add paid features in the future.

Your catches are yours

You own your photos and your fishing log. By uploading them you give us permission to store and process them for one purpose: running CatchReel for you. We do not sell your content or use it in advertising, and we will ask you first before using your data for anything beyond running the service.

Only upload photos you took or have the right to use.

What CatchReel does and doesn't promise

CatchReel uses AI to identify the species in your catch photos and reads each catch's time and location from the photo itself. Identifications are best effort and may be wrong. You can correct the species on any catch. Do not rely on CatchReel's identifications for decisions that require certainty, such as fishing regulations, catch limits, or food safety. When the answer matters, verify with a qualified source such as your state wildlife agency.

Trip conditions and depth estimates are historical context for your log, not measurements. They may be wrong, incomplete, or missing. Never use CatchReel for navigation, weather safety, or any decision on the water.

Species coverage, accuracy, and features may change over time. We may add, remove, or modify functionality at any time without notice.

Your account

You need an account to use CatchReel. Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself and tell us if you believe your account has been compromised. You can delete your account at any time in Settings, which erases your data as described in the privacy policy.

Acceptable use

Use CatchReel for your personal fishing log. You agree not to:

• Attempt to abuse, scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the service
• Access another person's account or data
• Use CatchReel in violation of any applicable law, including fishing regulations
• Attempt to extract or copy the underlying AI models
• Resell or commercially redistribute the service or its outputs

We may rate-limit, suspend, or close any account we believe is abusing the service, at our sole discretion.

"As is" and no warranty

CatchReel is provided "as is", without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that identifications, conditions, or depth estimates will be accurate. Keep your own copies of photos that matter to you.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Piscaro LLC and its members, agents, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of CatchReel. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to CatchReel is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or USD $10 if you paid nothing.

Termination

We may discontinue CatchReel at any time. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance through the app or by email.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or your use of CatchReel is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Florida, USA.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of CatchReel after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
